A Scout is Thrifty

Scouts need money!
   Equipment & Outings don't come without a price.  From Whirlyball to Mountain Climbing, to Summer Camp, Scouts NEED money. To get these much needed funds, Scouts have FUNraisers.  Here are some examples:

  • Spend a couple bucks and get so much more in return.
  • These books are chock full of coupons for area merchants.
  • You'll get the purchase price back in no time.
  • and you'll be helping Scouts do Scouting stuff.

Bowling Tournament

  • Our ONE big fundraiser for the Troop.
  • All the other fundraisers put cash in the Scout accounts, this one puts the money in the Troop general fund.
  • From this fund, we buy tents, lanterns, all the scout gear the Troop needs to insure a quality program for  the boys.
  • Ticket sales begin in January/February with the event in March/April.
